Wendy began her career in music at age seven as a young violinist.  By the time she was eighteen, she had performed in six countries with seven different orchestras and had studied with young artists programs at Ohio’s Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music, the University of Akron, Bowling Green State University and the Cleveland Institute of Music.

While at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Wendy studied with Eugenia Poustyreva, a former teacher at the Special Music School for Gifted Children at the Leningrad Conservatory and with Dr Carol Ruzicka, faculty member for both the ENCORE School for strings and the Cleveland Institute of Music and a performer with the Cleveland Pops Orchestra.

After leaving Cleveland, Wendy majored in music at The Ohio State University and studied violin with Michael Davis, Professor Emeritus of Violin at The Ohio State University and Concertmaster of the Lancaster (OH) Festival Orchestra and Charles Weatherbee, Concertmaster of the Columbus (OH) Symphony Orchestra.  While living in Columbus, Wendy performed professionally in various chamber and orchestral ensembles throughout Ohio and studied audio recording, songwriting and production with David Tolley, a performer on the Tonight Show and composer for Disney.

In June 2008, Wendy came to Chicago and joined the Horse-Drawn Productions crew as a network administrator and education assistant.  In September 2008, she began teaching violin before and after school Suzuki violin programs with Music House Inc. in Decatur Classical School, Hawthorn Scholastic Academy, Edison Regional Gifted Center, Mark T Skinner West Elementary Classical School and Pritzker and Jamison Elementary Schools. In addition to teaching, Wendy maintains a private lesson studio, teaching both violin and piano.
